Data Deletion Instructions – Karyana Bakery

At Karyana Bakery, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data.
This page explains how you can request the deletion of any personal information that we store when you interact with our website or log in using Facebook Login.

1. What data we may store

Depending on how you use our website, we may store some or all of the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your Facebook account ID (when you log in with Facebook)
  • Your profile picture URL (for display only, not saved as a file)
  • Technical information related to login (date/time, IP address, browser)
  • Order details and billing/shipping information if you place an order in our shop

We use this data only to provide access to your account, process your orders, and improve your experience at Karyana Bakery.

2. How to request deletion of your data

If you would like us to delete your personal data from our systems, you can contact us using one of the following methods:

  1. By email
    Send an email to: hello@karyanabakery.ca
    Subject: “Data Deletion Request”
    Please include:
    • Your full name
    • The email address you used on our website
    • If you logged in with Facebook, please mention that as well
  2. Through our website contact form
    You can also send a request through our contact form at:
    https://karyanabakery.ca/contact
    Please clearly state that your message is a data deletion request.

We may ask you for additional information to verify your identity before processing the request, in order to protect your account and data.

3. What will be deleted

Once we verify your identity, we will:

  • Remove or anonymize your personal information from our user database
  • Remove any stored Facebook-related identifiers linked to your account
  • Remove or anonymize your contact details from our marketing lists (email or SMS), except where we are legally required to keep certain records (for example, for tax or accounting purposes)

Please note:

  • Some order-related information may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons, but in that case it will no longer be linked to your name or contact details whenever possible.

4. How long does it take?

We will respond to your request as soon as possible and aim to complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity.

5. Revoking access via Facebook

If you signed in using Facebook Login, you can also remove Karyana Bakery’s access directly from your Facebook account:

  1. Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Security and login → Apps and websites in your Facebook account.
  2. Find Karyana Bakery in the list.
  3. Select it and choose Remove.

This will revoke future access permissions.
If you would also like us to delete any data we already stored in our systems, please follow the steps in section 2 above.
